please read my faq. sad bi retail worker trying to break into the health policy field. i have inappropriate sinus tachycardia and it sucks. white cis girl, she/her. the blog does not and will not prioritize men. trying to be aro ace & trans inclusive, so feel free to let me know if i screw up.
wow you’re right this is SUCH a great point i decided to share it with the world. i particularly like how you: (1) apparently think that there are no trans people (that’s what the “t” stands for, btw) that aren’t attracted to people of their own gender??? (2) totally ignore the fact that the vast majority of bi people who use the “2 or more” definition of bi (aka the “bi people don’t necessarily have to be attracted to people of their own gender” definition) ALSO say that defining your attraction to “people with vaginas” or “people with penises” is transphobic and fetishistic so like idg your point (3) are apparently ignoring the fact that not all non binary people are necessarily attracted to people of their own gender but might be attracted to men & women and thus are definitely bi (that’s what the “b” stands for, btw) even by the strictest, most exclusionary, & most gatekeeping-y definition of bisexuality (4) use terminology that is literally used in conversion therapy and (5) feel the need to fill my inbox with this bullshit. thanks a lot.
and since no one reads my FAQ before sending me garbage asks like this, i have decided to helpfully provide some excerpts:
also here’s what I want to fucking know. why don’t y'all ever talk about the bi guy who, wow, like women and non binary people REGARDLESS of their genitals? he’s just a bro who doesn’t like bros. why don’t we ever talk about him? maybe because you’re LESS interested in whether someone is being transphobic and MORE interested in policing bi people’s identities. what a novel idea.
